http://onward2opportunity.com/Onward to Opportunity (O2O) is a free employment program that brings civilian career training to eligible service members up to six months prior to their transition date and any member of the Selected Reserve (i.e. National Guard / Reserves) with at least 180 days in service. Additionally, any spouse of a service member or member of Selected Reserve, regardless of component and point of service is eligible. O2O combines industry-validated curricula, strong partnerships, and comprehensive career coaching and placement services to match program candidates with civilian job opportunities.O2O brings together the longstanding curriculum development and program delivery expertise of the Syracuse University Institute of Veterans and Military Families; the breadth of knowledge, reach, and specialty in business and state engagement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes initiative; the honed personal touch of service member coaching and mentoring of Hire Heroes USA; and the philanthropic resources of the Schultz Family Foundation.
