      After successfully performing the role of Delegate and Website Manager during the production and hosting of the IOSCO Annual Conference in Brazil, Cafundo Eventos Corporativos of Brazil recruited me to work in a similar role for the 42nd IOSCO Annual Conference to be hosted by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in Montego Bay, Jamaica. In addition to my previous capacities in Brazil, I managed and liaised with sponsors and exhibitors interested in supporting the event. My main duties included: - Assisting Conference delegates throughout their registration processes; - Assisting delegates with visa requirements, including issuing invitation letters and contacting the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) of Jamaica to assist with visa processes; - Answering all enquires and providing useful information; - Issuing invoices for wire transfer payments, resolving payment problems and issuing receipts; - Assisting participants with hotel reservations; - Management and optimisation of registration entries database; - Management of credentialing information, including types of registrations, access control, badges issuing and reporting; - Regularly reporting registration numbers, statistics and prospects to event's hosts; - Liaising with potential sponsors and exhibitors; - Negotiating sponsorship packages and drafting business agreements between sponsors and host (FSC); - Liaising and bridging sponsors, vendors and producers regarding technical details of sponsorship packages and exhibition booths; The 42nd IOSCO Annual Conference's final delegate count was 555, including leaders of financial markets regulatory institutions, academics, insurance and financial services industries Show less
