Action-oriented, creative, flexible, and determined are the first words that come to mind when I think of Angelina. I had the privilege of managing and working closely with her during her time as Policy and Operations Associate with Generation Citizen. Angelina’s work positively impacted everyone on our team at some point. She joined the organization in 2019 in a brand new role that quickly became a hybrid of much-needed functions across the organization. She designed and aligned the team around new systems of efficiency for GC’s Office of the CEO and Board of Directors, as well as our fundraising, program and policy operations. Over the past year, she became a powerhouse force behind our Vote16USA initiative, focused on supporting and elevating youth-led movements across the country to lower the voting age in local elections. Angelina supported everything from communications, outreach, and design to research, legislative tracking, and media training for young people. She additionally played a major role in an updated white paper on the Vote16 campaign, released this spring. Throughout it all, Angelina brought her cool, calm collected demeanor to the work. She communicates with honesty and integrity in every situation, and brings her enthusiasm, determination, and perseverance to every project - always in service to her teammates and the organization’s mission. Angelina would be an asset to any team or organization. She has my highest recommendation!
