I have taught Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Technical Math, Trigonometry, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Calculus IV, Real Numbers, and Geometry, Measurement, and Probability. I teach in the classroom and online. I have taught and/or teach Technical Math, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus II, Real Numbers, and Geometry, Measurement and Probability online. I collaborate and assist Learning Lab math instructors in whatever way I can to help them and support students. I have served/am serving on various committees. I am sponsor of the Baptist Student Union. In 2014 my duties increased when I became chair of what is now the School of Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, & IT. My responsibilities include collecting the math student learning outcomes for the college. I collaborate with my counterparts on reports and decisions/tasks related to our school. I am responsible for enlisting adjunct math, computer science and engineering instructors for my campus. During my time as chair, dual credit was instituted by our state legislature. I help provide orientation to dual credit math instructors and adjunct math, computer science, and engineering instructors, and I assist them in any way I can. I have collaborated with the Mississippi State Engineering on the Coast coordinator for meetings between MGCCC math and MSU engineering instructors. She and I also collaborate on schedules, classroom visits, etc. We have collaborated with Chevron employees on a Chevron Engineering Mentorship program which has been helpful to students. I served a number of years as district coordinator of the Seventh and Eighth Grade MCTM District Math Tournament. I continue to assist with the tournament. I wrote a grant for the math instructors on my campus to get Apple TV and iPads for use in instruction; the grant got extended to include the math instructors on the other campuses. Show less
