As a Senior Audit Manager I led a team of teams (20 individuals) through multiple technical engagements. In this role I was a strategic partner to business CIOs, CDOs and CFOs, coached Audit Managers and Associates on audit procedures & communication and focused on talent development, performance management. Two engagements of note: Product Cybersecurity Audit: Reviewed DevSecOps processes for Industrial Internet of Things IIoT/IoT products based on a NIST 800-53 control framework. Audit resulted in changes to development documentation tools, software component tracking requirements, and product end of life/end of support standards. IoT SaaS Platform: Supported Product Management teams to identify inconsistencies in feature backlog management process and low ROI features to reduce investment in non revenue driving capabilities. Partnered with commercial and customer success teams to enhance revenue triggers for SaaS products to ensure subscriptions are started and renewed timely resulting in $4MM of opportunities. Outside of client work, I led efforts to modernize the risk assessment process to including emerging risk areas including migration to cloud, data privacy/GDPR and third party risk management as well as update standard audit plans to utilize ISO 27001 controls. I was an active leader in the CAS Womens Network focusing on mentoring junior women in the IT track to increase gender diversity within the organizations' leadership and increasing the recruiting pipeline gender diversity by 3x to ensure diverse teams.
