I worked closely with Angela on the international students project at Amesbury School, specifically focusing on pastoral care for supporting international students. Angela is an experienced and knowledgeable educator who was able to help me (a non-educator) clearly understand and document the pastoral care program for international students at Amesbury School. Angela has excellent, open relationships with her staff, and she is a capable and experienced mentor who can employ her coaching skills to encourage the best performance from her staff. As a supportive and collaborative leader, Angela has robust management skills that will translate across a wide range of roles and industries. In her role as Associate Principal, Angela is is responsible for a wide range of curriculum and non-curriculum areas, requiring her to manage a high number of competing priorities. Because these priorities almost always relate to student well-being and progress, Angela is involved in complex problem-solving, exercising judgment and decision-making to effectively manage and deliver on those priorities. I can recommend Angela wholeheartedly. Not only is she a talented individual with solid transferable skills that will make her an asset to any organisation, she is an absolute pleasure to work with!
