At Kitsap Recovery Center, I Utilize the 6 dimensions of the ASAM criteria to assess and treat clients with substance use disorder. I work in a Level 3.5 Intensive Inpatient program and carry a caseload. I also work Level 3.2 withdrawal management and there I address the acute needs of people who are in active withdrawal. Including setting up MAT services, finding treatment options, and utilizing trauma informed care to send clients to the correct facilities. At Kitsap Recovery Center, I facilitate groups on the disease concept, relapse prevention, recovery environment, and seeking safety. I collaborate with clients to create individualized plans to address their needs. Show less

At BAART, I would utilize motivational interviewing to help address the needs of my clients. I carried a caseload of around 50 people in Level 1.0 outpatient. I would also educate my patients on harm reduction, early recovery skills, and collaborate with other agencies to help address their individualized needs.
