Activities and lead-up games are patterned after informal playground games that promise FUN and LOTS OF ACTION. *Canpitch is Softball Canada’s national pitching program, created to provide a standardized curriculum to introduce and develop the skill of windmill pitching to children and youth. Working for iPLAYHOCKEY.ca, a not-for-profit company I was an integral part in the creation of a virtual community for those directly and indirectly connected to the sport of hockey. In my role as Manager, Promotions and Marketing, I was responsible for the maintenance of the company website and other activities including sales. I was able to successfully create promotions that increased the awareness of the organization and its mandate. As well I created partnerships with various hockey groups and organizations to support Canada’s national sport and its participants.
