Interface certification: I generate a vendor code and test plan based on the Vendor’s answers on the Memorandum of Understanding. Vendors post HL7 files, 2D BarCode, and Requisition/Manifest in Edifecs (during development) and through interface (during certification). I certify files (using tools in next paragraph below) as good or return them to vendor for update if files do not match each other, internal specifications, or cap and clia regulations. I have biweekly status calls with each project via Webex to keep project moving. Once certification is complete I help transit the project to implementation and go live. I also do the teams metrics weekly and monthly reporting. Tools used in job: Smart HL7, One Note, IDTWEB, SIS, PROC, COR, LCLS, EDA Database, Excel Macros, Excel spreadsheets, Outlook email, Webex, phone, Cap & Clia Regulations, Internal Specifications.
