• Conducted the evaluation of self-assembly of peptides into highly ordered nano- and microstructures through performing statistical experimental• Coordinated and performed the characterization of powder and solid pieces of Polyamide-12 (PA12) by using high and low angle X-ray diffraction in the framework of a joint project with the company Hewlett-Packard.• Led the set-up of the NMR laboratory and managed it as responsible for a period of 3 years• Operated, maintained, and trained users for the following techniques: Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Circular Dichroism (CD) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP-OES, ICP-MS) • Published 10 scientific articles in top field journals and effectively communicated with internal and external stakeholders involved in product development and R&D projects • Advised international master and pre-doctoral students and mentored participants during several trainings and workshops.

Post doctoral study at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in the PSEP group, in collaboration with a pharmaceutical company (Farmahispania, SA) directed the study of hydrogels for drug encapsulation. Specifically I work in the preparation and characterization of hydrogels derived from different polymer families, and biocompatibility evaluation tests in vitro drug release.
