  Working with children at the daycare, I have learned to be more patient. It is different working with children vs adults. They expect more love and care right out. In these few months with them, I not only have grown attached like they are my own, but, have learned that even the most outgoing personality is crying out for love. It is no different than caring for the elderly. My expertise with children is learning to communicate with them and even the most slightest emotions can signal that something is bothering them.   As a CNA at Rosewood i not only gained experience with the elderly, I gained experience with all age groups. I learned that not only does it take a lot of heart to provide care, it takes courage and love to be able to keep the strength for each and every individual no matter the age, size, and color. In the end they all need someone to support them. As a CNA I gained wisdom from each and every individual that I had to bathe, do laundry, keep entertained, and help them with basics such as exercise to keep them going day to day. Show less
