  One among the company associated with the industrial and engineering sector buisness of albwardy investment (www.albwardy.com) . the company was found in 1970's and manage various Retail/ hospitality/ commercial projects proposed under albwardy investments. i have worked mainly on the hotel projects owned and proposed by the company in africa region. major projects were under operator Hyatt first project was Park hyatt Zanzibar, where we have renovated a 17th centuary building without loosing it architectural value and culture. the building was located at the heritage zone of UNESCO, it was very challenging and We have completed the project following all regulations and laws of construction by UNESCO on heritage buildings. Secondly i have handled Hyatt regency addis ababa, Our company brought the property during its final stage of structural construction as IBIS and NOVOTAL hotels, owned previously by KHARAFI contractors, Our team were assigned to re work on the existing structure to add extra facilities which complies to five star rated hotel standards; I had the opportunity to re design the project under the operator HYATT and their guidelines. Following were my role in the project. • Lead the project from inception to various stages until handover. • Development of Concept Design, Schematic Design and Detail Design • Single handily Produced all construction drawings and architectural schedules • Collaborated with other consultants (MEP, FLS, Security, IT, interior, and all manufacture’s) to determine design needs & requirements for the project. Arranged meetings to review thier proposals and plans, making modifications or revisions as required. • Prepared & maintained all project documents like correspondence, minutes of the meeting, supplier quotes, and then handled procurement of civil related materials and the interior fit out's production There were many other retail and commercial projects, i worked mainly on the design and construction detailing Show less
