Andy is rather wonderful frankly. As an ex-RN officer, he displays all the attributes and calibre one would expect of an officer and a gentleman in the Senior Service. In my time working with Andy, I found him to be honest, proactive and with a keen eye for detail. Whilst Andy often called upon to be a concilatory facilitator in his capacity as a BA, on occasion I found him to be tenacious and focused. In our personal dealings, I found him to be generous -- often sharing his rather magnificent home brew on my visits to his country home.
