Responsible for leading the protection and development of football facilities in Oxfordshire at all levels delivering against the football development targets contained within The FA National Game Strategy and demanded by our stakeholders. Leading on the provision of insight to ensure that delivery meets the needs of the game in the county. Delivering graphic design support and creating digital content for the county’s social media channels.Key Achievements- Rolled out the creation of four needs-led Local Football Facility Plans for each Authority in the county setting out the investment priorities for the next 10 years.- Worked in partnership with the Football Foundation, FA and local stakeholders to deliver over £6 million of priority projects in Oxfordshire- Worked with Cherwell, Oxford and South Oxfordshire Councils to produce the football sections of their Playing Pitch Strategies- Supported Sport England in the protection and development of playing fields providing strategic feedback through the MOU process- Implemented The FA Pitch Improvement Programme in Oxfordshire in partnership with the GMA and FA commercial partners working with clubs and Local Authorities to deliver over £700k worth of grass pitch projects - Delivered the County FA’s Small Grants and Innovation Fund programmes resulting in the delivery of projects valuing over £125k- Designed and implemented a number of insight projects to inform the delivery of the OFA County Strategy including mapping, youth to adult transition and adult player behaviour studies. Responsible for leading the development of the game across Oxfordshire in accordance with the Oxfordshire FA County Plan and FA National Game Strategy.Key Achievements:- Written and led the delivery of the Oxfordshire FA County Football Strategy for over 6 years- Identified, managed and supported a needs led portfolio of priority facility projects which has resulted in over £12million being invested into football facilities in the county- Worked with Oxford City Council to strategically develop the facilities across the city resulting in the creation of a pavilion review that has seen the investment of over £3million into the city pavilion stock- Led and supported the football development team to successfully increase a number of key performance indicators including the growth of the adult male 11v11 game above CFA and FA targets.
