Maggie Bui
Andy shadowed a class that I TA'd for in a previous semester he was always eager help students and learn from his experience as a mentor for the class, even at times going beyond what the role required him to do. He was always on time and was very communicative if he thought he would be late coming from one of his classes. In order to better prepare for lessons, Andy would always look the lab slide decks (even though that was not something he had to do) and would ask me and the other TA in the class questions for clarification. Outside of his role as a mentor, Andy is willing to take initiative to develop himself professionally by attending professional events and networking to better learn about the numerous opportunities available in the field technology. He also shows willingness to add more technical skills to his tool belt outside the classroom by taking online courses on C++ and other programming languages to better explore his interests in technology and stand out as a job applicant.
