  Quality Assurance process tech. I supervise the Quality Techs in the testing of CLT and Glulam to make sure the products are up to SmartLam standards as well as APA standards. I oversee that the final product going out of the mill has the correct measurements and features that the customer wants according to the blueprints. I assist in making sure our process is the best it can be in both Quality and production. I assist in special projects and research. I am called to assess product that is damaged or out of tolerance to make a decision as to if it is acceptable or rejected. I also handle monthly APA audits by keeping up with test results and calibration of equipment. Show less

  Manufacturing. Inspected tires for any defects before releasing them to the public. I used everything from vision and touch, to X-ray machines to guarantee acceptable product. Fixed minor imperfections as well as rejected tires that were not up to Michelin or DOT standards. I was also a trainer and mentor to new hires.
