      Joining the company as an Area Sales Manager I looked after the Industrial Account Base in the North West of England, developing sales, new listings and driving promotions. In 2002 I moved to our Builders Merchant Group where I took respoinsability for a major National Account, a number of focus Buying Groups and Key Independant Merchants. I sucessfully grew these areas during my tenure through relationship development, new listings and range reviews. In 2004 I was asked by the company to fulfill a Marketing and Communications linking the Sales and Marketing teams to better improve communication links both internally and extrenally. During this role my key acheivements included setting up a outside mailing house for direct comms and the introiduction of a CRM pachage to our business. I was also part of a team which spefcified, developed and rolled out a full Business Information system which interrogated our back house system to give sale data which could be used in field. During this period I also accepted responsability for 2 internal telesales position. In 2005 I was asked asked to fulfill a Sales Management Role responsable for a team of 5 external sales people in the North of England. This became a National role due to company restructure later that year when responsable for 9 people. I then returned to the Builders Merchant Division as Key Account Manager for large national accounts, buying groups and wholesale distribution. I am currently fulfilling that role and have seen consistent growth from my accounts year on year. Show less
