In an industry that thrives on claiming technological buzzwords and jargon; Andy is that rare breed who really knows what he is talking about when it comes to Agile. During his time at LGIM Andy demonstrated how you can effectively deliver and implement technology solutions using the agile methodology as well as creating the blueprint by which to construct effective agile teams. The framework he created encompassed function (Analysis, QA, Development, Deployment); technology stack and business area. Furthermore he was able to leverage this to create a comprehensive career development framework that allowed the agile skills to flourish. Through his guidance, mentoring and leadership he was able to influence and educate both the technology department and crucially the business sponsors on the benefits and effectiveness of the Agile delivery methodology. Andy is very passionate about his subject and this is demonstrable in his success at changing the mindsets of so many on how to think about Agile.
