      Established in 2006, WEL Medical is a highly reputed direct supplier of emergency medical equipment to the public and private sectors as well as to voluntary and charitable organisations. WEL Medical operates in line with the requirements of the worlds most recognised quality management system (ISO9001). WEL are also members of the British Healthcare Technologies Association (BHTA) and operate within their code of conduct, which is approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT). With a portfolio of products: iPAD Defibrillators, Brayden CPR manikins, DefibSafe external defibrillator cabinets, Boscarol Portable Suction units and the Guardian Vigilance System. All of these are recognised as major players in the market. WEL Medical has sole distribution rights and full Manufacturer’s responsibility iPAD brand of defibrillators. In 2012 they were awarded the contract with the British Heart Foundation to supply the iPAD SP1 to the part-funding program. This has extended to both of the Government £1m defibrillator schemes. This has involved an extensive audit of all company financial information, internal processes, logistics and full product evaluation. As well as the British Heart Foundation, the iPAD is approved for placement in ALL regions covered by the mainland UK NHS Ambulance Service. The East of England Ambulance Service chose the iPAD SP1 as the device for their AED1000 project, which the placement of over 1000 iPAD’s across the East of England region. WEL have won some very high profile commercial contracts to supply high volumes of products and manage the whole logistics and installation process.
