Designing and Developing light fixtures for Hubbardton Forge. Design Driven Hubbardton Forge employs more than 220 people in Vermont and is one of the country’s oldest and largest commercial forges operating today. It all started with two guys, an old barn and some borrowed tools. They had big ideas and a passion for design, respect for high-quality craftsmanship and a belief in the importance of tradition. Our company and our product line have grown over the years, and we continue to tell a story of Vermont through and through. For more than 40 years, Hubbardton Forge artisans have handcrafted each product, one at a time, right here in Vermont. Show less

Shady Lady Lighting was a family lighting business that was created by Susie Morter. In the early years it was a cottage industry style business focusing on hand crafted lamp shades. Later Susie's husband Guy Morter joined and it evolved into a lamp and fixture manufacturing company marketing to the residential lighting and furniture industries. Shady Lady had showrooms in Dallas, Highpoint, Las Vegas and Chicago. Their son Andy Morter joined the company and helped expand the business to the casual outdoor furniture market by developing a line of outdoor portable lamps. The business also expanded to include imports for the big box market. The business closed its doors in 2010. Show less
