I can honestly say it was a huge pleasure working with Andy. During the 2 years he was director at RBLI he implemented some bold and challenging yet necessary changes which were of great organisational benefit. During this time he delivered a number of messages which could have been met with negativity and yet on each occasion he had everyone fully on board and in support of his decisions. I felt that under Andy my voice was truly heard and he was very willing to take advice from below. I find he strikes a great balance between taking the official line when needed, and levelling with his staff. If you have the chance to work alongside or for Andy you wont go wrong. I sincerely hope we have the opportunity to work together in future.

I worked both with and for Andy for over four years through a period of immense change within the organisation. Throughout this period Andy was always highly enthusiastic and positive in his management style. This approach ensured momentum was maintained through his team during large contract implimentations. Andy was never fearful about getting involved with detail and specifically kept a close eye on associated financial indicators of all current and new business opportunities.
