Andy managed projects that I was a lead technical engineer on. He quickly earned the respect of technical and management staff as a competent project manager. Andy worked dillegently to enhance his skill set in all areas of project management. Most notably, Andy is skilled at forging relationships to bring a team and project together to see it to successful completion. When challenges arise such as time constraints and shifting priorities that could affect milestones along the critical path, Andy uses creative thinking to suggest solutions others have not thought of. Andy is a very driven and motivated individual who does well working with a wide variety of project resources to see solutions implemented within the timeframe and budget allocated by the business. Further, Andy displays excellent communication and documenation skills that will continue to progress his career as a Project Manager.

Andy began as a Business Analyst on my team before becoming a Project Manager on another team. In his later position I continued to work with him on various projects. Andy has always shown a great attention to detail, and has been very diligent about providing good financials and reports for his projects. He has always been a strong advocate for good project management methodology, especially the PMBOK, and his knowledge in this area is very deep. He was an asset to my team.
