I have worked closely with Andrew on multiple product design, manufacturing and improvement projects. Andrew has an excellent practical understanding of product design. He is able to balance the functional and manufacturing requirements of his designs with costs and supply restrictions. This practical approach allows Andrew to produce reliable and cost effective solutions that deliver the competitive edge. Andrew is able to interface effectively with both customers and suppliers, this allows him to deliver win-win solutions for all parties. I have found Andy to be very reliable and always able to deliver solutions on time and on budget. I would recommend Andrew for any role requiring the leadership of design and project teams. Andrew would be a valuable asset for any commercial and customer focused design organisation where finding the right solution is key to success.

I am currently managing the next generation Magicard product, which when delivered will have had a 3 year duration, multi million pound investment and a team of 15 engineers of various disciplines. This is an interesting role, which also includes the management and sign off of Injection Mould Tooling in China. Along with this I have gained an insight into the world of Systems Engineering and the scope of its role within the project.
