PETTYCASH is a Dublin based arts collective focusing primarily on bringing together spoken word, music and visual arts. We ran a monthly event from December 2012 to September 2013 in the Little Green, and since then have worked on a number of curated evenings of entertainment including a show in the 10 Days in Dublin Festival, and a three night curated event in 12 Henrietta Street. In 2013 we were also invited to perform at the Trinity Arts Festival, Body and Soul, Life Festival and Electric Picnic. Show less

As part of Way Out World's production team I had a broad number of duties that ranged from setting up of events (e.g. Promotional parties for Lazonni Furniture Store, charity events for the Ali Forney centre), promotions, networking for WOW media in a professional capacity, using online social media as a professional tool (managing facebook and twitter accounts), making calls and writing emails to potential sponsors and guests for the events. This internship was designed to help the interns develop their event management, networking and management skills. Show less

Adept in using and understanding IMDB as a professional tool. Set up two screenings of film 'As Good As Dead' (Andie McDowell, Carey Elwes), as well as liaising with media and blogs on covering its release and carrying out regular PA activities (running and researching).
