Also accountable for:Leading daily production meetings in order to liaise with Planning, Maintenance, QA, Research Scientists , Trials Teams and Management figures to determine line production schedules, priorities and highlight potential challenges to be resolved.Work with the Laboratory to ensure rapid identification and resolution of defects in the finished product. Ensure any "out of standards" in the Standard Conditions are highlighted and actioned in the absence of the Asset Team. Motivating and coaching the shift team and Lead Operators across multiple lines to ensure RME and FPE are maintained at the required levels to ensure the efficient operation of the lines. Ensuring shift resource is efficiently utilised across three film lines and that standards are maintained. Identify skills gaps and take the necessary action to facilitate the safe and effective training of my team.Ensure best practice is identified and cascaded to teams, and facilitate and implement a CI culture through Six Sigma Projects and discussions with the Shift Team.Manage shift contractual hours and disciplinary matters appropriately.Liasing with Trials Teams, Research Scientists and the Shift Team to ensure trials run as efficiently as possible on the Film Lines.Act as the Permit to Work Issuer to ensure all documentation is completed and relevant isolation's of machinery are made and proved prior to maintenance work being carried out.
