  Work consists of creation/editing of historical Enumeration Districts (EDs) in ArcGIS Pro using reference maps and descriptions from the 1900s through 1940s. Using black and white historical maps with hand-drawn markings, and historical text descriptions of EDs, ensuring that they are mapped in their accurate locations and spatially accurate with no overlap or gaps of polygons to ensure data joins are performed accurately. Spatial analysis of information such as home ownership by Black families over the mentioned decades to support Archiving Black History project. Completion of 400 hours required.

  Selected to be involved in a research project backed by a NASA stipend involving analysis of certain minerals believed to be potential habitats for microorganic life on early Earth and potentially Mars. Needed to coordinate organization between two universities to to accomplish work and organize acquired data. Work involved use of heavy machinery to prep dozens of samples with each requiring hours to prep, traditional laboratory training and use of sensitive laboratory equipment. Analysis of data using specialized software. Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite used to create reports, posters, and visual presentations to present data to peers, faculty, and others. Research journal co-authorship credit pending some more work needing to be finalized.
