Responsible for execution of all engineering activities (>100 engineers) to internal and customer leadership.- Technical staff, performance simulations department. Provide technical assistance to department manager, including interviews, independent reviews of programs, and supporting department strategy and technology initiatives.- Astronomical research. Developed methods for quantifying systematic and random uncertainties in many-dimensional space. Continued refinement of photometry and star formation history measurement software packages.Previously- Flight Test technical lead for a large program. Responsible for execution and coordination of all flight test activities, including pre-flight predictions, data and tool deliveries, execution, and post-test analysis and reports. Coordinate and present internal and customer reviews related to all of the above activities. Frequently present to internal and customer senior management.- Technical staff for systems engineering / integration and test team. Led Critical Design Review, support evaluation of requirements changes (often coordinating with customer), requirements development and traceability / compliance analysis, perform architecture trades. - Measured star formation histories of most known Local Group galaxies based on archival HST imaging- Developed technique to measure density of stars as a function of distance from star locations on color-magnitude diagrams- Refined algorithms for automatic star detection and photometry on stacks of images.
