  I was responsible for Cleaning the enclosures and runs to a high standard for each animal, supplying the animals with food and water, and checking dietary requirements such as specific food or medication needed. I was trusted with the animal’s welfare, and was liable for making sure the animals were groomed and exercised. Also, I was dedicated to maintaining a very high standard of hygiene. I really enjoyed this work experience as I could be adaptable and resolute to keep to the demands of the work. During this time, I learned to be a leader and to work well in a team through great communication as both aspects were important to complete the work loads in an effective and timely manner.
