    • Contracts Manager
      • Oct 1999 - Nov 2013

Originally working on a local authority contract on behalf of Worthing Borough Council, responsible for parks and gardens in the north of the Borough. A successful tender process saw the enlargement of this contract to retain the north, and be awarded the south, including specialist services including parks security, arboriculture, administration and income collection of sports and allotment services. Also included was the management and upkeep of Beach House Park, which hosted annually the Bowls England National Championships, a 2 week event which was the culmination of the lawn bowls calendar, requiring robust event management, and a level of greenkeeping required to sustain high levels of performance over the tournament that would equal any major sporting tournament.I moved from Worthing to establish four contracts on behalf of the London Borough of Richmond in January 2013, dealing with horticulture, sports facility management, playground inspection & maintenance, and a minor infrastructure repair contract for parks department assets. These are pioneering contracts due to their framework structure, with high customer focus and established community ties and projects.
