Andy’s attention to detail, developed over the course of his career to date is both highlighted in his work and the personal development he has taken over that time. I first began working with Andy when he became part of the greater Complex Solutions team at Verizon Business and most recently I have been his line manager here in the Netherlands. In all of that time he has been one of my main sources for informed technical information on all things voice in the IT world. With his background no one could quite as well articulate the customer drivers for the change from Legacy PBX to IP telephony better than Andy as he himself had take the same journey. But this is not the only string to Andy’s bow and during the last 18 months as his manager I have seen him handle issues as diverse as how we can manage an unmanageable network and defining what is and isn’t possibly commercially on v-sat. It goes without saying as I type this into a text box on Linked-in that I would recommend Andy to any future employer, and if they were to employ him they would find they had got a conscientious and dedicated employee who not only has the certificates but is able to use them to a daily basis to benefit of his company and customers.

I have worked with Andy in different ways over the years: first when he was a Voice/VoIP engineer in my team, later when he was a Solution Development Manager. Andy is a conscientious and thorough person who knows how to balance the priorities of customers and internal groups. He happily works across various countries and cultures and his direct way of communicating helps to clear up fuzzy situations. It is a pleasure to work with Andy.
