  Working alongside an in-house design team, my duties as a designer at PinkNews include:• Providing an internal creative service across all departments - ensuring the look & feel of the brand always matches our voice & brand guidelines.• Contributing engaging designs across a wide variety of platforms - including social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat & Tik Tok (targeting primarily Gen Z & reaching total audience numbers in the millions).• Delivering engaging UI & UX designs for use across the PinkNews web & app platforms (iOS & Android), from initial concept to final product - as well as designing microsites, landing pages & fulfilling external client briefs.• Key involvement in the design process for large scale events & campaigns, including but not limited to:‣ 'Pride for All' - PinkNews' unique virtual pride event, featuring our very own bespokely designed virtual pride march‣ 'PinkNews Awards' - A yearly award ceremony celebrating unprecedented LGBTQ+ achievement‣ 'PinkNews Futures' - A careers fair centred on inclusion for LGBTQ+ young peopleSome key partners for these events have included IBM, Amazon, Uber Eats, Zipcar & H&M.• Designing a wide variety of unique products & commercial material for PinkNews' very own e-commerce brand - PinkNews shop!Major Achievements:• Took leadership redesigning a brand new PinkNews app from the ground up and had an integral role in fully redesigning the PinkNews website.• Created meaningful instagram artworks & posts for the LGBTQ+ community that have amassed millions of likes and shares + developed branding for multiple highly popular snapchat shows - including PinkNews’ main channel (which has more than 3 million followers).My role at PinkNews requires working at a fast pace to meet tight deadlines as well as applying a wide creative skillset - from graphic design & illustration to web design & animation.
