At CNB, I focus on evaluating and deploying economic development tools, programs, and incentives to catalyze the growth of a robust, regional economy. Through my economic development work at CNB, I have led the development of the Cherokee Nation's economic development strategic plan, managed and deployed New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) to create community investment, provided regional economic analysis and reports, developed business attraction and retention strategies, responded to development RFPs and inquiries, and worked with employers and communities large and small to promote growth and development in the regional economy. Special projects I have undertaken at CNB include a wide range of activities with an emphasis on troubleshooting and implementation in difficult projects including business continuity planning, renewable energy, grants management, infrastructure development, and policy analysis.
