Directorate of Strategy, Business and Regulation, Department of Distribution regulation, Madrid Master Thesis: Impacts of Distributed Generation on Remuneration of the Electricity Distribution Company in Spanish Electric System. Addressing the issues related to Technical and Economic impacts of distributed generation (DG) on remuneration of Distribution System Operator (DSO) by using a Reference Network Model (RNM). An impact assessment is performed by analyzing changes in the grid´s operation through grid reinforcement costs, energy losses, and quality of service indices, under different scenarios of DG penetration in the Distribution network. Based on the obtained results recommendations have been made for alteration of DSO´s remuneration scheme for the case of a DSO in Spanish regulatory framework. Show less

Master Thesis: Thermovision as contemporary method for preventive maintenance, monitoring and diagnose of equipment in Electric power distribution substations. Development of Informational System for “Predictive maintenance” of substation equipment in Electric Power Distribution Networks. Classification components and substation configurations in the data base and basic digital image processing. (Software solution: SQL data base and C#). The main purpose of “Predictive maintenance” approach is to detect, analyze and remedy problems before a failure occurrence. Therefore, controlling the thermal condition of substation equipment with thermovision technology is a key element in maintenance, where assessment of a device, machine, system or component is being made while indicating possible a defect.
