  The American Bus Association serves a thriving industry that provides more than 600 million passenger trips annually on charters, tours, scheduled service and shuttles. Membership in ABA includes motorcoach operators, tour operators, tourism-related organizations, and products and service suppliers. ABA was founded in 1926 and is the oldest, largest and most respected voice in the industry. As the Director of Policy and Legislation, I represent the more than 3,000 member organizations of ABA before Congress and the Administration on issues related to transportation, infrastructure, tax, appropriations, homeland security, energy, travel, and tourism. In addition to my work in D.C., I frequently travel around the country to state and regional motorcoach association meetings to educate their members on current legislation, rules, and regulations being discussed at the federal level and build grassroot support for ABA's positions on these issues.
