I co-managed a team of Finance Analysts producing financial evaluations on sales campaigns, selling engines and long-term service agreements for large engines in Civil Aerospace. I was responsible for the quality and timeliness of evaluations and for working with the Sales team to optimize deal constructs to maximize value for Rolls-Royce and our customers.I worked on a project to re-design the sales and governance process, which reduced the time taken to approve sales campaigns by 80%. I designed pre-approved deal constructs that allow Sales to respond quicker to customer requests.I led the Finance team through a period of transition as we merged with a Commercial / Engineering team, including training the new larger combined team.

In this role I undertook monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and periodic budgeting and forecasting on aftermarket for four of Rolls-Royce’s large aero engine programmes. I project managed a change program which brought together disparate Finance teams into a centralized team designed to support newly created Finance Business Partnering structure.I designed a system in IBM COGNOS to facilitate the creation of statutory accounts for a major entity, along with a number of other process improvements.
