Took ownership of the departmental intranet site, re-designed and re-launched both to an excellent reception. Was commended by managers for the improved quality of magazine output whilst departmental intranet now sees far increased usage as a key communication channel to all staff. Other key roles included acting as an integral part of Xerox’s Year Start Meeting organisational team, a five-day set of conferences introducing over 2000 members of staff to the company’s 2008 objectives. Personally organising the flights, accommodation and transport for eight of Xerox’s European Directors, as well as over 250 other key staff. This led to a personal note of thanks from a number of Directors and management. Being part of the communications team during the largest re-brand in the company’s history meant careful collaboration both the marketing department and company’s senior officers, as well as gaining first hand experience of the importance of building a strong brand and enhancing its many facets. Volunteer Aid Work
-
2007 - 2007
Working with other volunteers to assist in various construction activities throughout the town of Peja, as well as teaching impoverished local children basic life skills. An extremely insightful period, which taught a great deal about not only working alongside others, but just what a difference people can make when they work together.
