I was initially appointed as Managing Director of Vodac. Vodac was one of three service providers owned by Vodafone. The others were Digicall (acquired as a result of bankruptcy) and Talkland which was set up to open retail shops. Over a period of time the four service providers were integrated and I was appointed as CEO of all operations in Australia reporting to the board. We opened 130 retail shops, cleaned up the dealer channel and were growing at the rate of 30000 new… Show more I was initially appointed as Managing Director of Vodac. Vodac was one of three service providers owned by Vodafone. The others were Digicall (acquired as a result of bankruptcy) and Talkland which was set up to open retail shops. Over a period of time the four service providers were integrated and I was appointed as CEO of all operations in Australia reporting to the board. We opened 130 retail shops, cleaned up the dealer channel and were growing at the rate of 30000 new customers a month. We penetrated the corporate market and lifted the monthly revenue and profit per subscriber by 30%. Our network was rated as the best performing network in all but one state. My main achievement was always making budget and lifting Vodafone to be then respected as a key player alongside Telstra and Optus.
