  I worked directly with local and corporate management in order to lead intensive in-person training classes to welcome new team members as well as to acclimate them to the Cheesecake Factory culture. New team members are guided through a week of classroom training as well as on the job training in order to get the best feel for and understanding of the Cheesecake Factory way.   In this role, I handled both card and cash sales, cash drawers with denominations in the hundreds into the thousands, and was in charge of tipped employee payouts with a stringent system of paperwork to ensure accurate payments to team members at the end of their shifts.

  As a server, my main role was to act as liaison between the Cheesecake Factory and its guests. This high stress, intensive multi-tasking position is one that teaches skills to transfer into any career or profession.
