Responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process and team that built large industrial stainless-steel coffee roasting machines, which we shipped all over the world. My team was 33 people strong, including office managers and staff, along with a very talented supply chain, welding, finishing, assembly, electrical, testing, crating, and facilities team. I was part of the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO, Robert Austin, that took Loring from a $4-$5 million company to just over a $14 million a year company in 4 years. Responsible for developing and maintaining our production capacity to meet the production requirements for our sales department, developing department budgets , adherence to our quality and ISO 9001:2015 standards, implementing LEAN manufacturing practices and improvements. Responsible for all employee management issues for my team, including hiring, firing, & discipline. Responsible for facilities build-out as we continued to grow, which included the construction of offices, running of electrical, installing test bays, gas lines, shop heaters, mezzanines, and moving our lunch room, just to name a few. Worked with engineering and sales departments to improve the quality and manufacturability of our machines. Helped to launch several new product lines during my tenure.
