Worked with suppliers, partners and charitable organisations to provide essential funding for community projects which maintained an operational level for the centre as well as providing significant financial support for various youth led projects. Secured multiple thousands in funding from various avenues including local government grants, children in need and comic relief funds. A key operation of this role was the due diligence for the merger of 2 leading YMCA centres, Chelmsford and Colchester, which secured a financial return to sustain the operational development of the YMCA in this region. As part of this venture I was approached to lead the Y Cube Temporary Housing project with the local government housing department which significantly increased short term housing solutions for the community. I worked closely with the LSC (Learning Skills Council) and formed a strong consortium with local community members, local employers and even secured funding for a new music studio.
