I had the pleasure of working with Andy in various roles and company transitions between 1998 and 2010. During this time Andy always impressed with his attention to detail and dedication to the task in hand, whatever that may be. During those 12 years Andy rose "through the ranks" to attain his final position and always built on the experiences gained in the previous roles. I've always found him to be self motivating, hard working and consumately professional. He was always a positive asset to the Company. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any role within his many and varied skill sets.

Andy was fantastic to work with. Extremely commercially minded, he ensured that our clients experience from point of sale to being published was seemless. Motivating his team on incredibly tight deadlines was often tough, but you would always find Andy with a smile on his face and approachable, regardless of the query you were bringing to him.A true pleasure to work with!

Having helped on a voluntary basis for some years, I was approached regarding a new role launching an online shop and building a social media presence. As well as being a challenging new direction, this allowed me to fulfil a personal goal of relocating to the south-west. I successfully launched the shop within deadline, and during the first year of trading turnover exceeded £70,000, with a yield of approx. 15%. I continued to develop the online shop, sourcing stock, adding products, managing yields and stock levels etc. I also launched the brand on eBay to extend penetration and further raise awareness of the charity. I also set-up and maintained the charity’s social media, which included Twitter, Facebook and a monthly e-newsletter. This included creating and tailoring content for each channel, and engaging and responding to the supporter base using the preferred channels they chose to interact with the charity. During my final six months I also took on the role of Regional PR, to complement and work with the outsourced national PR person, and I also wrote monthly articles for two national magazines and used this as another route to promote the activities of the charity, raising awareness and increasing the supporter base. Leading a team of over 20 staff, covering three departments, I was responsible for ensuring the smooth creation of feature and advertising material and page delivery to remote print centres, within daily publishing deadlines. I was frequently involved in special projects throughout my time at BMG, including two DTI implementations, first a V4 system in 1999, and again in 2006 for V6 in our Greenock Centre, and in 2007 in Berkshire, where my focus was on the advertising implementations… Show more Leading a team of over 20 staff, covering three departments, I was responsible for ensuring the smooth creation of feature and advertising material and page delivery to remote print centres, within daily publishing deadlines.
