It is my pleasure to recommend Mr Andrew. Mr Andrew was my lecturer in Republic Polytechnic for the module, Multi-Platform Storytelling. Not only were his lessons in class enjoyable, they were also engaging as well. His lessons were known to be popular among the students in my diploma course and he was well sought after by students for help if needed, further proving his popularity among the students. His friendly demeanour and funny jokes in class make him approachable. His time as my lecturer for the module, Multi-Platform Storytelling, was short but definitely memorable. Besides encountering him as my lecturer for the module, Multi-Platform Storytelling, I was also fortunate enough to have him as my supervisor for my Final Year Project (FYP). Over the time as my supervisor for FYP, he was meticulous and mentored my team and I well to be able to make it into the school’s FYP showcase, Symbiosis. He was there to guide my team and I throughout our ups and downs over the course of our FYP. Throughout my time in Republic Polytechnic, I can say that Mr Andrew is definitely a lecturer and supervisor that goes above and beyond to help his students. Even if he is not my lecturer, I can always count on him to point me in the right direction. Outside of school, he is also a great advisor and wonderful designer with his easy going personality.

Andrew was my lecturer both Nanyang Academy Fine Art in 2011 and Raffles design Institute in 2013 for a term (3 months). He taught Typography class for second year of Diploma and Design in Society class of Bachelor. I feel that he would be an excellent candidate for it. Andrew has highly detailed-oriented eyes to design artwork, especially for Typography. He has strict deadline rules yet he gave the best options to make the material usefull for student's future career. He respected student’s ideas and gave as much efforts as students who have initiatives to work hard. He gave helpful advices that produced great quality result. However, his teaching rules were never been forced to the student, he gave them freedom to make the decision. He would give objective score for the quality result and efforts. Many of students seek of his opinion and advices. There were times when he gave students more time to work by themselves before consultation. Development is important during learning process. Though Andrew was my lecturer for short time, he showed his friendly side during class break and class finish. He separate his personal space and professional work evenly. Outside the school environment, Andrew is a loyal and easy-going friend. After I graduate, he maintain his open-mind personality to share the latest trend of design industry to his former students. He is easy to approach and likes to throw jokes.
