Andrew and I were in completely different fields when we crossed paths. Andrew in the petroleum sphere and myself in semi-conductors, but I noticed that he was using PI DataLink to monitor multiple rigs and platforms. I too used PI DataLink for monitoring FAB chemical systems, but not to the breadth and detail that Andrew was handling. Andrew showed me how tie in my Pi tags to Excel for better trending graphs. I was able to move away from Process Books to publishable charts on our intranet. I must thank Andrew for teaching me to better myself in my own field
