Customer Service Consultant
-
Jul 2017 - Oct 2019
As a customer consultant my job was providing customer service over the phones and selling insurance for both car and home. As well as operating the telephone I had to navigate the computer systems adding value to calls by providing the very best customer experience. I also sold add-on products to policies and take payments from customers over the phone. This job has given me experience in a contact centre environment and has taught me how to keep to strict industry regulations.

Customer Advisor
-
Oct 2015 - Jul 2017
In my role as a customer service assistant I dealt with customers in person and over the phone. The areas that I worked in were kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and flooring, this is where I was responsible for maintaining stock levels and general store standards. I was also responsible for generating customer orders and overseeing that they were completed correctly. I was also responsible for running the store cash office, where I had to cash up tills twice a week and bank the money, I was also then required to order money from the bank as and when required. If there were any discrepancies it was my job to work out why they had happened. Show less

Secretary
-
2013 - 2014
As Secretary I had overall responsibility for the administration of society activities, I had to coordinate, plan and produce all society communications. This included responsibility for the regular update of the society webpage, Facebook and Twitter in addition to a regular distribution of information by email. It was my job to outline an agenda for each committee meeting alongside the President, to take minutes and circulate these among Committee Members and to the Societies & Volunteering Coordinator I also had to submit forms and applications as required by the Union or Society need by given deadlines e.g. room booking forms, risk assessments etc. I was a founding member of the society and as the secretary was heavily involved in the creation of all aspects of the society which involved a lot of development and planning meetings with the other founders and the Students Union.
