      As the current head of Frame, Body and Suspension I am responsible for the design, build and testing of the systems implimented on the new single seat race car LJMU 16. I am also involved in the interfaces of my own and other systems. This role has taught me a great deal in terms of technical knowledge and the managerial skills required to deligate the work required for the design and build. As part of the new car I have been personally responsible for the design of an entirely revised; - Suspension System - Spaceframe - Differential Carrier - Pedal Box And have overseen the design of the; - Bodywork - Steering System - Cooling System LJMU 16 is the most recent iteration of the single seat race car built by a team of students at Liverpool John Moores University. The team pride themselves on manufacturing the majority of components in-house giving students the oppurtunity to experience real world manufacturing first hand. LJMU Racing Team has competed in UK at Silverstone, Germany at Hokenhiem and Spain at Circuit de Catalunya. Most recently the team placed 11th out of over 100 teams, 4th in the UK.

Membership in the team has allowed me to increase my team working skills and allowed me to apply my technical knowledge and design skills in real situations.
