  I am pleased to be a Senior Project Manager and Hydrogeologist with GEL Engineering, where I have been designing and managing projects of all sizes and complexities. Over my career as an environmental consultant, my areas of expertise have grown to include: • Groundwater, soil, and vapor intrusion contaminant investigations and remediation • Nuclear facility environmental assessments and siting studies • Quality assurance (QA) and quality control programs and plans • Underground Storage Tank investigations and closures • Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Facility Investigations and Facility closures • Waste characterization and disposal evaluations • Regulatory permitting and compliance • Groundwater supply investigations • Mine drainage issues. I design, implement, manage, and peer-review risk-based site characterization and remediation projects. I am a Licensed Professional Geologist in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina, and I am a Registered Site Manager in the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Registered Environmental Consultant voluntary cleanup program. I have extensive expertise in designing judgmental and statistical sampling plans to meet project objectives by applying my wide-ranging experience with, and understanding of, the fate and transport of contaminants in both the vadose and saturated zones and applying state-of-the-art QA procedures to obtain defensible analytical data and interpretations.
