  Bulga Underground Operations (aka Blakefield South or Beltana Highwall Mining) Worked as an assistant underground surveyor to the Nominated Mining Surveyor. The role typically consisted of underground roadway set out and detailing the as-built workings for mine mapping to ensure accurate development for the Longwall and pillar formation. Other survey work included marks for underground conveyor installations such as drive heads and hanging bolt positioning. Excellent AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, which are utilised to create various hazard plans and statutory plans which assist with compliance for the Mine Surveyor. Subsidence monitoring was an ongoing task as well as maintaining up to date plans for surface infrastructure. Recipient of the Clarence Smith Jefferies award for best Mine Surveying Assessment 2017.
