  Surplus Market is a vintage and independent designer clothing, accessories and housewares shop launched in partnership with Hudson's Bay. On top of a growing e-commerce presence, Surplus has one location inside Hudson's Bay Polo Park in Winnipeg, with more cities in the works. As one of the brand co-founders, i've helped turn the brand from an event into a fully fledged store, with one location, an online store and several others in the works.   Since 2012, I've been operating as a touring artist and manager, primarily for my own artistic endeavour, The Lytics. My efforts have gained the group international acclaim with yearly European tours, a WCMA award for best hip hop record in 2017, a Juno Masterclass selection and a Converse Rubber Tracks selection. In this position, I've worked with the likes of Apple, Stussy, Converse and Tiger of Sweden on varied projects from sync placements, to energy campaigns, seeding deals and a host of other mutually beneficial activations. With this experience, I've branched out to supporting other artists and arts organizations, providing services ranging from, project management, grant writing, campaign management, A&R Services, public relations, event management, sync/licensing consultation, Talent Buying and public speaking. Past clients include Breakout West Festival, Creative BC, Music Nova Scotia, Manitoba Music, Folk Music Ontario, CBC, The University of Winnipeg, The University of Manitoba, Manitoba Arts Council, the Province of Manitoba, the City of Toronto, Reddit, Chobani, Gymshark, Red Bull, Wall-to-Wall Art and Music Festival and a plethora of major properties through North America and Europe.   As the North End’s Recreation and Wellness Liaison, I oversaw the creation of parks, large scale recreation programs and public relations and communications strategies/campaigns. Advocacy and opportunity development was at the heart of my duties at NECRC, working closely with government at the municipal and provincial levels. Other duties included fund development, grant administration, project budget management, policy adjustment and adjudication, project management and event planning.
