Was responsible for Sales of the entire store and year over year growth but held accountable for the three departments I directly managed. Managed Three supervisors and 20 associates and held weekly conference calls to review my numbers in comparison to other stores within the district. Held meetings once a month with each associate reviewing numbers and goals and to come up with sales gameplans or work on areas of development/focus. Had BI yearly documented reviews with all individuals, and was responsbile for all written documentation for that individual whether for poor performance or great performance prior to those reviews; ultimately this made there reviews that much easier to develop and present to them.

Landscape Designer

Worked with customers under a contract to achieve a common goal with a team of individuals that would ultimately benefit the end users in projects (commonly the general public) such as public roadways, public parks, athletic complexes, and residential designs.Met often with town officials to discuss project scope in certain phases of the project, but particularly early in the process before construction to make sure all local requirements were being fulfilled. Connected with civil engineers, architects, enviornmental agencies and various other organizations to make sure that the Landscape Achicture piece was integrated appropriately.Developed drawings through the use of CAD (Computer Animated Design) did construction drawings (often then reviewed by a civil engineer), grading plans, section and elevation drawings. Utilized Sketch Up 3D to create 3D models of the proposed landscape. All of these technical drawings were done to adhere to the reality that a designs ultimate goal is to be functional. A designer can come up with the grandest of designs but based on the reality of the space, codes, drainage, grading etc. . A Landscape Designers goal is to always keep the core of the design intent while working within the "rules" of the space you have.
