I joined Maxar Technologies on contract right out of college which was a great way to expand on the foundation of my geospatial knowledge -Worked independently as well as in a team environment utilizing shared data environments -Provided technical expertise using ArcGis software for vector based projects such as content management, utility mapping, and vertical obstruction mapping. -Utilized an advanced understanding of ERDAS imagine to perform supervised classification of satellite raster imagery for comparative analysis. -Performed quality control analysis across projects on an as needed basis, delivering reports to both peers as well as supervisors on ways to improve quality and efficiency moving forward. After several extensions beyond the initial year planned, my contract ended in late June, 2021; just short of two years. Show less

This was a part time job to help pay for college. While this might seem like just another job, I felt it critical to learning to interface with both customers as well as my fellow employees. -My team was responsibly for lowering annual shrink bellow 0.3%, the best in the region. -Ensuring customer satisfaction. -Maintain store in-stock levels as well as appearance. -Relying on fellow employees to increase product knowledge base. While I had planned on leaving upon graduating college, I sadly left a little early due to an injury requiring surgery. Nonetheless, I am happy to have had this experience. Show less
